It discusses the urgency surrounding the recognition of “Culturally Linguistically Diverse Children” and critically examines the systems and policies regarding their right to learn. Although these children surely exist, their learning rights are not substantially guaranteed. This fact is represented here by the phrase “left behind”. The paper argues that this state of being “left behind” is structurally caused by “five walls” or obstacles.
