After examining 23 previously published articles, the following findings were obtained. (1) The conditions for the development of practical knowledge as part of younger teachers' growth are comprehended through three categories, namely, perceptions of pupils, perceptions of self, and structural changes in practical knowledge. (2) Perceptions of pupils consists of three subcategories, namely, grasp of, acceptance of, and confidence in pupils. (3) Perceptions of self consists of three subcategories, namely, consciousness of practical goals, combination of educational methos and situations of pupils, and ascertainment of the possibilities of the self. (4) In terms of the structural changes in practical knowledge, liking between practical knowledge and theoretical knowledge, and transforming the existing aspects of practical knowledge are found out.
