In this context, students are regarded as key players of town revitalization. There are some student groups related to town revitalization in Fukuyama City University, which is the first university in Japan to have a Faculty of Urban Management. Nevertheless, study on the significance of the student groups on town revitalization is not progressing.\nWe are paying attention to the pro-active activities of the FCU-Chan project group (a project based learning group in Fukuyama City Univ.:\"FCU-Chan\"). So, this paper discusses the learning effects of the proactive activities, awareness of participating students and their acquired ability and positive mind.
