Firstly, we compiled the expenses to operate the convention and the related events, and those participants’ consumptions as the direct effect of 1163.72 million yen. Next, we calculated the first and second ripple effects induced by the direct effect. The result shows that the first and second ripple effect amount to 1402.63 million yen and 244.32 million yen, respectively. Therefore, the total economic effect turned out to be 1646.95 million yen as the summation of the first and second ripple effect.
