| 内容記述 | 2020年に完全実施された学習指導要領によって，小学校の英語学習に文字学習が新たに加わった。しかしながら，英語の文字指導を児童に行うことには，より慎重かつ丁寧な指導が必要であると考える。そこで本研究では，小学校における英語学習の文字学習導入期では，児童が「聞くこと」・「話すこと」で学んだ表現を，円滑かつ段階的に「読むこと」・「書くこと」につなげていくことできるような指導法になり得る，文字慣らし活動を取り入れた指導が，児童の読み書き技能や負担感にどのような効果があるのかを検証した。日本の大学附属小学校に在籍する4 年生児童33名を対象に行った検証を，t検定や一元配置分散分析を用いて分析した結果，文字慣らし活動は，負担感が増大することなく，英語文字学習導入期の児童の読み書き技能面の伸長に効果があるという結論にいたった。 | |||||||||||||||||

| 内容記述 | In 2020, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) has launched the New Course of Study which includes literacy learning for English in primary level. It can be said that more careful and attentive guidance is needed in teaching literacy for English to primary students. This study examined the effects of familiarization activities for literacy in early stage of primary English education with children’s reading and writing skills and their sense of burden. This study verified 33 students from an attached school of a national university using t-test and one-way ANOVA. According to the conclusions of the study, literacy familiarization activities were effective in increasing the reading and writing skills of the children without increasing their sense of burden. | |||||||||||||||||
