福山市立大学FCU EDU+は，本学教育学部公認の地域連携事業の一つとして，研究と地域の教育・保育実践の有機的な連携および発展に資するプラットフォームをめざして，2023年度に発足した。この取組みの大きな特徴は，大学教員がもつ専門的な知を実践の場に一方向的に提供するだけではなく，研究者と教師・保育者がともに研究と実践を密に往還させるための窓口として機能しうる点にある。公立大学教育学部としての存在意義を，地域の教育・保育のより一層の充実と，それに資する研究の発展に見出そうとするならば，研究の場と実践の場をより密接に，かつ双方向的に連関させ，双方に対して有意義な取組みを実現していくことがめざされる。教育・保育の実践における課題が多様で複層的な様相を見せている今，この取組みがいかに機能しうるのか。本稿では，FCU EDU+発足からこれまでの実績について報告し振り返るとともに，今後の展望を示すことを目的とする。 |

FCU EDU+ was launched in FY2023 as one of the regional collaboration projects authorized by the Faculty of Education, aiming to contribute to organic collaboration and the development of research and local educational and childcare practices. The main feature of this initiative is that it not only provides university faculty members with specialized knowledge in one direction of the field of practice but also functions as a window for researchers, teachers, and caregivers to exchange insights on research and practice. If the significance of the existence of a public university education department is to be found in the further enrichment of local education and childcare and the development of related research, it is necessary to link the fields of research and practice more closely and realize meaningful efforts to both research and practice. This paper seeks to report and review the achievements of the FCU EDU+ since its inception and present its future prospects. |
