| 内容記述 | 1973年に韓印両国は国交を樹立した．爾来，外交，安全保障, 貿易・投資, 科学・技術, 文化・人的交流, 地域協力等, 広範囲な分野で協力関係を深めてきた．特に，1990年代以降，両国関係は急速に発展した．その背景には，冷戦崩壊に伴いイデオロギー的枠組みが揺らぎ，また，インドが1991年に経済開放政策を採用して構造障壁を取り下げたことが起因する．加えて，1991年以降，インドが東南アジア・東アジアとの関係を重視する「ルックイースト政策」と韓国の金泳三政権による「世界化（Segyehwa）政策」が共鳴した結果，両国関係が進展した．貿易面では韓国の対インド投資が伸び悩む一方で，文化面では「ソフトパワー」を用いて韓国におけるインドのイメージが向上した． 韓国の視点から近年の韓印関係は，単なる二か国間関係としての意味だけではなく，インド太平洋地域の平和と安全を維持し, 安定したサプライチェーンを含む経済安全保障を確保する役割が見出されている．就中，経済・貿易関係については, 2010年のCEPA締結以後, 安全保障と密接に関係する防衛協力分野や輸出産業分野で成果をあげた．また，文化面では，韓国政府や韓国文化院による「韓流」コンテンツを通じた文化交流事業が盛んであり，インドにおける韓国語の学習事業が増加している． |

| 内容記述 | Korea and India established diplomatic relations in 1973. Since then, they have deepened their cooperative relationship in a wide range of areas. In particular, the relationship between the two countries has developed rapidly since the 1990s. This is due to the fact that the ideological framework was shaken with the collapse of the Cold War, and India adopted an economic opening policy in 1991. In addition, the relationship between the two countries has progressed since 1991 because of the resonance between India's “Look East Policy,” which emphasizes cooperative relations with Southeast Asia and East Asia, and the “Segyehwa Policy” in Korea. While Korean investment in India has stagnated in terms of trade, India's image in Korea has improved through the use of “soft power” in the cultural sphere. From the Korean perspective, the Korea-India relationship in recent years is not simply a bilateral relationship; it is seen as having a role in maintaining peace and security in the Indo-Pacific region and ensuring economic security. In terms of economic and trade relations, since the conclusion of CEPA in 2010, there have been successful results in the areas of defense cooperation and export industries, which are closely related to security. |
