| 内容記述 | 爱尔兰浪漫主义诗人叶芝的诗歌《茵尼斯弗利岛》和中国唐代著名诗人柳宗元的《江雪》在文化背景、创作年代上有所不同，但是两首诗都涉及到“痛苦”这个主题。依据比较文学中的平行研究方法，运用罗兰·巴特的两级系统符号理论、索绪尔的语言双轴观点和格雷马斯的叙述符号学理论对两首诗进行分析，结果显示：这两首诗在形象和情感编码、叙述策略和模态表现上都呈现出相似之处；但是两首诗的内在结构存在差异，《茵尼斯弗利岛》注重语言的重复，在叙述中更倾向于直抒胸臆，而《江雪》更加含蓄，表达的信息更为隐秘，符号编码更加复杂。因此，从符号学角度进行解码和分析，既可以揭示不同文本在形象和叙述层面的相同之处，也能表现东西方诗人的编码差异。 | |||||||||||

| 内容記述 | Although created in different times and under different cultural backgrounds, the English poem The Lake Isle of Innisfree written by William Butler Yeats and Chinese verse Snow River by Liu Zongyuan have the same theme about emotional pain. With the help of Barthes’ theory on signifier and signified, Saussure’s theory about syntagmatic and paradigmatic and the theory of narrative semiotics set by A. J. Greimas, this article tries to do a parallel research on these two poems. The results indicate that they are similar in the way of image coding and narrative strategy. On the other hand, the significant differences in structural creation have been explored. The Lake Isle of Innisfree features language repetitions and direct expressions of poet’s feelings, whereas Snow River is so implicit that the poet’s emotion is hidden more deeply and coding is more complicated. Therefore, the semiotic analysis can not only reveal the similarities between different texts in image coding and narrative strategy, but also show the coding differences between Eastern and Western poets. |
