| 内容記述 | 本研究では，大学生を対象に夏季休暇を利用した英単語力向上のためのオンライン自習会を実施し自主的に参加した大学生がどのように自学自習を行うのか，またモチベーションの変化や学習効果について調査した．その結果，ほとんどの参加者は，休暇終了までほぼ毎日勉強することを期待していたが，実現できていない参加者がほとんどであった．しかし，休暇後の語彙力テストを受けた参加者のほぼ全員がスコアを伸ばしており，休暇中の自習が語彙力の向上に役立ったことが証明された．アンケート調査によると，自習を成功させる鍵は「時間」，「オンライン」，「サポート」であった．また，休暇後半に自主学習のペースが落ちてしまい，再びペースを取り戻すことができなかったことを悔やむ声が多かったことから，今後の課題としては，モチベーションを長期間維持することに重点を置く必要がある． | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | In this study, we implemented an online self-study session for university students to improve their English vocabulary during the summer vacation. We explored the participants' self-expectations, motivation, and effectiveness of the session. The results show that most participants expected to study almost every day until the end of the vacation, and most of them did not realize it. However, almost all the participants who took the post-vacation vocabulary test improved their score, which proves that self-study during the vacation helped them develop their vocabulary. According to the questionnaires, the keys to successful self-study were ‘time’, ‘online’ and ‘support.’ For the future study, we should focus more to keep their motivation for the longer period, as many of them regretted the slowdown of their pace in the latter part of the vacation, and they were not able to pick up their pace again. | |||||||||
