| 内容記述 | 本研究は，東日本大震災による被災地，南三陸町における「故郷」観の変遷について，インタビュー調査を通じて考察した．震災後被災地の多くでは，多くの住民が地域外へ移住し，コミュニティの崩壊が進んだとの指摘がある一方，地元に残った住民や新たに移り住んだ移住者との間で新たなコミュニティ形成も見られる．本研究では震災を経験した人びとにとっての「故郷」とはなにか，故郷観の変容はどのようにして生じるかに焦点を当て，南三陸町におけるコミュニティ規範の変容過程を明らかにすることを目的とし，宮城県南三陸町をフィールドとしてインタビュー調査を行った．インタビュー協力者は，町で生まれ育った人，Uターン者，Iターン者などさまざまな進路をとった人を選定した．得られた語りはKJ法を用いて分析した．分析の結果，「故郷」観は主に意思以前的に構成された共同体としてみなされていることが分かった．これは，アイデンティティの一部としての愛着だけでなく，逃れがたい宿命のような感覚としても語られた．しかしながら，南三陸町のコミュニティは震災を契機に大きく変容し，共同体的な関係が交響体的な〈故郷〉へと移行する過程が明らかになった．それは，選択によって事後的に運命を創出すること，故郷を選び直すことによって成される．本研究は，震災後の「故郷」観の変化を明らかにし，被災地のみならず他の地域にも適用可能な示唆を提供している． | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | This study explores changes in the concept of ‘hometown’ in Minami Sanriku, an area affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake, through an interview-based survey. Despite the departure of many residents and the disintegration of some communities, new connections emerged between those who remained and newcomers. The study seeks to clarify how community norms evolved after the disaster and what ‘home’ means to those who lived through it. Interviews were conducted with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including locals, U-turners, and I-turners. The KJ method was used to analyse the narratives, revealing that ‘hometown’ was often perceived as a pre-determined community, intertwined with both identity and a sense of inescapable fate. However, in the post-disaster context, the community shifted from traditional communal bonds to a more dynamic, symphonic view of ‘home,’ where individuals actively re-selected their homeland. This study illustrates how perceptions of ‘hometown’ changed following the disaster and offers insights that may be applicable to other areas beyond those affected by disasters. | |||||||||
