| 内容記述 | アーバンスタディーズという領域がその射程としてどのような柱を得てきているのかについて検討した．その結果，第一に，1980年代以降，オレゴン州から先駆けて開発された，成長管理イシューを基盤としつつ展開してきたことが確認された．第二に，ソジャらによって展開された「ロサンゼルス・アーバンスタディーズ学派」の「都市の再構造化」研究がアーバンスタディーズ領域にとっての研究及び政策論議の柱となったこと，そして米国のアーバンスタディーズの教育研究に影響を与えてきていることを示した． アーバンスタディーズは，「都市研究」といった平板なものではなく，これら固有の研究および政策議論の柱をもち，その研究と政策討議のためのアリーナとしての舞台として成長した． This article aims at clarifying how Urban studies as the inherent arena has acquired its main objects for research as well as policymaking. As the result of our examination, we have two findings. 1)As its main arena issue Urban Studies has committed the study, research on Growth Management, that was firstly invented and implemented by the State of Oregon （Urban Growth Boundary：UGB）. And the number of class subjects that treat Growth management increased in Urban Studies courses in universities in US in 1980s. 2) The issue of “restructuring of cities” was set upby Los Angeles School of Urban Studies (E.Soja, M.Davis et.al) in terms of cultural turn and especially post fordist-turn. The theme is combined with multi factors such as post-fordist, deindustrialization of firms, polycentric city region, new inequalities in new unban restructuring, governing way of fragmented metropolis etc. Urban Studis adopted that issue as the other main arena issue for discussion for research and policymaking in 1990s. |
